Built in the 16th century as a shooting lodge on a hill overlooking the surrounding plain of Lucca, the Villa is still now the principal house of the property. It was restored in the 19th century, when the bordering Villa Buonvisi was joined to the whole property and the Bernardini family combined the gardens of both villas, making a large park full of valuable plants.

Today the interiors of the Villa are elegantly furnished with antiques and paintings. In a corner of the garden, with a breathtaking view over the countryside below, you can relax in the swimming pool. Guests can enjoy pleasant walks all around the park, as well as the use of a shared tennis court. Satellite TV, stereo and video recorder are also available.
