Originally belonging to the Buonvisi family, this Villa dates back to the 16^th century. It was bought by the Bernardini family at the beginning of the 19^th century. Recently restored, the original look of the house has been carefully preserved, with ancient cotto floors, beamed ceilings and old fireplaces. All rooms maintain their original huge and bright spaces and have been tastefully furnished with antiques.

In the huge and comfortable kitchen, as well as in the other living rooms, there are beautiful fireplaces. The house has a wide and flat garden too, extending on its three sides, with several shaded areas. In front of the Villa is the swimming pool with a fantastic view of Lucca below, there is also a tennis court for use by guests on the property. The house is provided with satellite TV, stereo and video recorder.
